Create an Event Source

An event source is a typed entry point for inbound triggers. Webhooks, schedules, and platform-emitted topics all flow through one. Subscriptions attached to the source decide which workflows or agents run.

Add an Event Source

1. Go to Event Sources in the sidebar and click Add Event Source.

   

2. Pick a source type, name the source, and save. Webhook sources get a unique callback URL, schedules need a cron expression, and topics need a curated event type.

   

3. Open the source to view its callback URL, recent deliveries, and source-specific settings. Each field has an info tooltip (ⓘ) that explains what it does.

   

Tip

For webhook sources, copy the URL from the detail page and register it with the upstream system before sending a test event. Bifrost stores every delivery so you can replay or inspect them later.

Note

Microsoft Graph sources create and renew the upstream provider subscription for you. Teams sources use Microsoft Bot Framework authentication and do not create a provider subscription.
